Carrie de Moor, MD

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Carrie de Moor is the current CEO of Code 3 Emergency Partners based out of Frisco, TX. She attended Southern Methodist University and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She attended Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine and completed her clinical training in El Paso, TX. Dr. de Moor trained in pediatrics as an intern from 2005 – 2006 at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston before entering her Emergency Medicine Residency at Texas Tech El Paso, Thomason Hospital. She graduated as Chief Resident and was awarded the Outstanding Chief Resident award 2009.

She was elected as the Chair-Elect of the American College of Emergency Physician’s Freestanding Emergency Centers Section in October 2014 and has been the Chair of the Section since 2016. Dr. de Moor’s leadership positions extend beyond Emergency Medicine. Dr. de Moor is the Immediate Past President of the Collin-Fannin County Medical Society and Project Access Collin County. She is a Past Chair of the Texas Medical Association Young Physicians Section and now sits on the TMA Board of Trustees.

After residency, Dr. de Moor worked in a variety of urban and suburban emergency departments, including a medical director for a freestanding emergency room. In 2010 Dr. de Moor was recruited as the Assistant Medical Director and Trauma Liaison for the only Level 1 Trauma Center in Ft. Worth, Texas and quickly roes to Medical Director by 2011. She has been nationally recognized for her work on lean processing in trauma and immediate availability/point of care blood availability in the emergency department. Dr. de Moor has been published in the Emergency Medicine and Trauma literature.

Since starting Code 3 Emergency Partners in 2015, with 6 Emergency Physicians and 1 Freestanding Emergency Room, she has grown the company which owns and operates Freestanding Emergency Rooms and Urgent Care facilities to 7 locations, 120 physicians and over 250 employees. Her focus on “the patient, not profits” has greatly contributed to the success of the company.

Dr. de Moor is a wife and mother of 3 active children and enjoys spending her free time coaching basketball, watching her son play football, watching soccer games and leading her girl scout troop in record cookie sales! She was recently nominated out of 350 applications as one of the winners in the Dallas Business Journals Top 40 under 40 and awarded the Dallas Business Journals “Women in Business’ awards.
